THE CELESTIAL EDIT
On Wednesday the 9th of May, magic of the most sublime kind was created and memories made that will last a lifetime. Founded by The Events Lounge, GC Hitched was launched earlier this year, making this our first major industry collaboration. It was our mission to craft something that would make a lasting impression. And when we cast our eyes over the final edit, yep, we’re happy to admit, they filled with {happy} tears. Mission accomplished! We only hope y’all agree.
Once the word “Celestial” was thrown into the mix, there was no going back. We were immediately inspired by the idea and excited to create something a little different… something a little darker and more moody {we invite you to have a look at our Moodboard here}. It was then a matter of building a team, and wow, what a team it was…
The day was nothing short of spectacular. It was a long day on set, but every single supplier brought their A-game and worked so harmoniously with one another. We went on a huge journey around the property, creating celestial-inspired spaces in every pocket of paradise (that time allowed). From the house itself, down to the lush fields, and finishing up in our mystical cave of lanterns and lights as the sun descended behind the mountains.
Massive thanks again to our insanely talented industry friends (and members of the GC Hitched family) who helped bring our vision to life. We could not have (we repeat), COULD NOT HAVE done it without you. Thank you for going above + beyond and donating your time to creating pure magic on set.
