GC Hitched x The Events Lounge “Morning Tea” ~ The Wrap

Last Tuesday we hosted an event with the intention of connecting and empowering local businesswomen over a morning tea to remember. We sampled {wait, who are we kidding – we DEVOURED} some of Stable Coffee Kitchen’s lovingly prepared plant-based salads over a mimosa, while sharing industry insights and experiences {both good and bad}; with more power in business than ever before, support and trust is critical.
We wanted to create a sacred space that was inclusive; a space where we could listen to each other with our hearts rather than their heads.
And we feel confident in saying, that we achieved exactly that…
Special thanks to Tommy from Stable who moved mountains on an extremely wet and windy day to help bring our vision to life. We had a lot of fun with the styling on this one; we worked with a dusty pink and forest green palette with hints of black as well as the neutral tones + textures of delicate dried blooms. The stationery was created in-house by our lovely Zoe, including name + conversation starter cards, thank you/survey forms + the sweet gift bag labels. Another notable shout-out goes to Grace Harrison from Milk & Honey Cake Creative for baking the most delicious two tier, geo-panel cake that tasted like a DREAM.
Word can’t express how grateful we are to all who attended and shared their compelling narratives. It was such a pleasure to be surrounded by a squad of extraordinarily talented and supportive women to extract encouragement and inspiration from; discuss all things big and small; celebrate the struggles as well as the wins, and everything in between.
